Grainne Ridge

Grainne’s unusually broad business background of accountancy, logistics, planning, sales and training has put her in a great position to understand how businesses work – and how to make them work even better. She has a particular passion for helping Business Owners and their teams develop confidence in their business skills through facilitation, coaching and training.

After a corporate career at KPMG and Mars she set up her sales training business in 2005 and in 2009 joined forces with a business coaching consultancy to develop and run brain friendly coaching and training programmes for business owners. She continues to design and deliver bespoke training for the full suite of sales skills alongside her business coaching work.
Grainne has facilitated groups of 5 to 125 people, from Director to operations staff, to develop new strategies, engage teams in business goals, create new ways of working or overcome business challenges. She has designed and delivered sales training programmes in many sectors including IT, maritime, banking, conference and events, marketing and sales agencies, professional services, food and drink, telecoms, health and well-being as well as the voluntary sector.

She has been a regular presenter at events on business topics and has also written three business books, Difficult Customers, Time Management and Training Skills, commissioned by the Directory of Social Change.
