Mike does his best work with people who are held back by self-doubt and uncertainty. He is fascinated by how our ‘inner voice’ so often conspires to hold us back from what we really want to do and relishes the challenge of turning it into a force for positive action.
Mike works mainly with middle managers in organisations who face the daily challenge of managing downwards, sideways and upwards. By challenging their limiting beliefs and giving them feedback on the impact of their thinking, language and behaviour, he enables them to find the confidence and composure that empowers them to do their job more effectively which, ultimately, benefits everyone in their organisation.
He describes what he does as raising self-awareness and, in doing so, awakening the possibilities of what individuals and teams can achieve.
Mike has worked with people in a variety of organisations including Allied Bakeries, Appleyards, Astra Zeneca, Dairy Crest, Kimberly-Clark, Transport for London and Unilever UK.
